mountain rice

Last week we had a celebration with “nasi tumpeng “, rice shaped like a mountain or upside down cone. The color of the rice can be white or yellow; mixed with coconut or turmeric. Usually you cut the top of the rice and give it to the person who is celebrating. Tumpeng also accompanied with various food decorations just like the one above. Yummy!
